Maximilien Surel is a public affairs consultant and Chief of Staff at CommStrat. He supports companies and federations on strategic issues related to ecological transition, healthcare, and digital transformation.
Holding a Master’s degree in General Public Law from Université Paris Cité, Maximilien has always combined commitment with expertise. Elected as a student representative for four years and serving as Vice-Dean for students, he played a key role in improving university life and academic governance.
His professional journey has led him to develop strong experience in public affairs, communication, and project management. He notably worked as a Communications and Public Relations Officer at the Paris Mediation and Arbitration Center (CMAP), where he gained insight into institutional communication and the organization of professional events. He also served as a parliamentary assistant at the French National Assembly, working alongside the Vice-President of the Social Affairs Committee, where he deepened his understanding of legislative processes and public policies.
Maximilien now leverages his expertise to help clients navigate political and regulatory dynamics, enabling them to anticipate changes in their sector.
