Pierre-Yves Le Borgn’ holds a law degree, a diploma from the Paris School of Political Studies and LLM. From 2012 to 2017, he was a Member of Parliament, representing French citizens living in Central Europe and the Western Balkans.
Pierre-Yves Le Borgn’ was rapporteur for PACE (the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe) and has served on the Committee on Legal Affairs and Human Rights, the Committee on the Election of Judges to the European Court of Human Rights and the Committee on Culture, Education and the Media.
Prior to his election to the French National Assembly, from 1990 to 2012 he held various positions in public affairs, communications and legal matters for US multinationals corporation: Vice-President, Corporate Affairs Europe for First Solar.Inc, Director, Industry Relations and EU law counsel for Rohm and Haas Company and Chairman of the Environment Commission of the European Confederation of Chemical Industries.
Pierre-Yves Le Borgn’ speaks English, German, Spanish and Portuguese. He has worked in Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, Hong Kong and the United States. He now lives in Brussels.
